goff. is a project that I will always hold close to my heart. What began as a design assignment—to create a company focused on psilocybin—became a manifestation of all my favorite things. goff. is a restaurant centered on fostering meaningful connections and promoting relational well-being. In essence, goff. is about making healthy love cool again through food, beverages, and hospitality.
The Concept
GOFF IS A SPACE DESIGNED TO FOSTER SAFE AND MEANINGFUL CONNECTIONS. INSPIRED BY BRUCE GOFF’S CONVERSATION PIT AND MID CENTURY MODERN ARCHITECTURE, GOFF AIMS TO REINTRODUCE SPACES ROOTED IN DIALOGUE AND UNDERSTANDING.
WITH A MODERN FOCUS ON RELATIONAL HEALTH STUDIES AND THE EFFECTS OF PSILOCYBIN THERAPY, GOFF OFFERS A SELECTION OF FOOD AND BEVERAGES INSPIRED TO PROMOTE THESE THERAPEUTIC VALUES.

GOFF’S MOODBOARD AND VISUAL IMAGERY IS BOLD AND UNAPOLOGETIC. WE ENCOURAGE A BLEND OF MODERN PHOTOGRAPHY AND VINTAGE PHOTOS. THERE IS NO REQUIREMENT ON GRAIN QUALITY. MANY PHOTOS ARE INSPIRED BY RETRO 90S AND 70S ADVERTISING AND MID CENTURY MODERN INTERIOR AESTHETICS. IMAGERY SHOULD TOW THE LINE BETWEEN VINTAGE-INSPIRED AND MODERN. BOLD COLORS ARE ENCOURAGED.
IF THERE IS A PHOTO THAT THE QUALITY FALLS A BIT SHORT, WE WILL INVOKE A TWO-TONE EFFECT. THIS CAN ALSO BE APPLICABLE FOR PHOTOS LACKING COLOR OR TEXT VISIBILITY.FOR THE TWO-TONE FEATURE, WE USE A TWO-TONE FEATURE BY APPLYING ONE OF OUR COLOR PALETTE COLORS OVER AND SETTING THE OPACITY TO 50%.
WE HAVE CREATED THIS LAYERING EFFECT WHERE THIS IS FRAMED. THIS IS DEPICTED WITH A SQUARE THAT IS THICKER THAN THE OTHER: TO MIMIC THE DESIGN OF THE CONVERSATION PIT.THERE ARE NO RULES TO WHICH SIDE THE CONVERSATION PIT GRAPHIC APPLIES ON, AS LONG AS ONE SIDE IS THICKER THAN THE OTHER.
